YouTube Live Auctions (HaBa Cards Oy)

 

We host auctions on YouTube Live as part of our Rip & Ship streams:

 

- Tuesdays and Saturdays at 21:00 (EET) (auction)

- Rip & Ship stream starts at 20:00 (EET), the auction starts at 21:00, and the stream continues after the auction ends.

 

How the auction works

- All items are presented and shown live before bidding.

- The starting price is announced before each item.

- Bids are placed in the YouTube live chat.

- The highest accepted bid when bidding closes is the winning bid.

 

Payment and shipping

- The winning item is paid for after the auction on our website (instructions will be given during the live stream).

- Shipping cost is €7.90 per order.

- We ship the item after payment has been confirmed (within 3 days).

 

Consumer protection and right of withdrawal (distance selling)

Because the sale is made via distance selling (live stream + online payment on our website), we comply with Finnish consumer protection rules for distance contracts. This also applies to used items.

 

- Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day the item is received, unless a statutory exception applies to the specific product.

- Withdrawing from the purchase means the customer must return the item. A withdrawal without returning the item is not sufficient.

- We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or the customer provides reliable evidence that it has been sent back.

 

Returns and costs

- The customer pays the return shipping costs, unless otherwise agreed.

- Once the return has been received and inspected, we refund:

  - the item price**, and

- Returned items must be in exactly the same condition. The item may only be handled to the extent necessary to verify its characteristics and condition.

- If the item’s value decreases due to handling beyond what is necessary (e.g., damage or clear wear), we reserve the right to deduct a depreciation amount from the refund in accordance with consumer protection rules.

 

Binding bid and non-payment

- The winning bid is binding.

- If the winning bidder does not pay within a reasonable time (payment method and deadline will be provided during the live stream), we reserve the right to:

  - cancel the sale for that item and/or

  - restrict the person’s participation in future auctions (future bids may be voided).

 

Fair and safe community

We aim to keep our live community safe for everyone. Harassment, bullying and inappropriate behavior may result in moderation actions and, if necessary, bans.
